Early life and career
Abbas studied architecture at the National College of Arts in Lahore. He is an actor and an architect. He also writes Urdu poetry.
Abbas entered into Pakistani Lollywood films and then became very popular through Pakistani
television dramas, telefilms and soaps. He has recently stepped into the Indian film industry Bollywood
for his role in an Indian movie.
He made his Lollywood debut in 2013 Pakistani film
Anjuman opposite Sara Loren, Sohai Ali Abro and Alyy Khan.
Talking about his Bollywood career Abbas in an interview to The Express Tribune said
I had been offered parts in Guzaarish
, Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela
and Aashiqui 2, but declined them as I was already signed to appear in
Boss for Akshay Kumar's production,which unfortunately, did not materialize.Abbas later made his debut in Bollywood opposite Bipasha Basu in Vikram Bhatt's Creature 3D.
Abbas has completed another Bollywood film
Jaanisaar directed by Muzaffar Ali alongside Pernia Qureshi. Abbas has also committed to Pakistani film
Abdullah alongside Sadia Khan. (
